The goal of the summit is to step up international cooperation to implement the agreements reached at the Krakow and Vilnius forums on energy safety.
The forum is expected to follow up on the implementation of existing agreements and examine new energy projects. The Ukrainian government will submit technical evaluation report on the Odesa-Brody-Plock-Gdansk oil pipeline designed with the participation of the European Commission.
Another item of the forum’s agenda is construction in Ukraine of an oil refinery to process the Caspian oil.
The summit will also examine a draft concept to create a single Baltics-Black Sea-Caspian Sea energy transit corridor.
The summit’s organizing committee is headed by the first Deputy Premier Olexandr Turchynov.
