Presidential secretariat accuses Tymoshenko of high treason and political corruption
Deputy head of the presidential secretariat Andry Kyslynsky said he has information that the Russian leaders are bent of backing Yulia Tymoshenko in the presidential election – if she takes a passive stand regarding the conflict in S Ossetia, the Aug 18 secretariat’s press release runs.

According to Kyslynsky, Viktor Medvedchuk will run Yulia Tymoshenko’s presidential campaign from a center created in Moscow. The center also includes Serhy Kliuyev, Grigory Surkis and Oleksandr Zadorozhnyj. Humanitarian projects will be supervised in Ukraine by Dmytro Tabachnyk. So far, $1 bn has been earmarked to run the Tymoshenko’s campaign, he claims.

“Last week we stated that we have information about Yulia Tymoshenko’s intensive work in the interests of Russia. Unfortunately, this information is true. Moreover, Yulia Tymoshenko has crossed the point of no return. Because of this, she has her hands tied and has no room for maneuver in the conflict of Russia with Georgia,” the official claimed.

According to Kyslynsky, Tymoshenko campaigning has already got under way, with the backing from Ukrainian industrial-financial groups that were involved in the pro-Russian campaigning back in 2004. “During her recent stay in Sardinia, Tymoshenko tried to rally the politicians eager to stage a comeback. They are headed by Viktor Medvedchuk. Recently, the team was joined by former president Leonid Kuchma who flew to Sardinia– at the personal request from Tymoshenko,” Kyslynsky said.

The presidential secretariat will submit the incriminating information to prosecutors, the official declared. “Ukrainians are entitled to hear the truth about the sell-out of politicians who crossed the line of political struggle and indulge in open betrayal of national interests,” Kyslynsky declared.

The Ukranian Orange Revolution was financed by the Bush Administration and British Pretroleum (BP)....and it is the vast Oil and Gas Resources of Ukraine and Gerogia these Western Powers wish to seize and control. Establishment of NATO Membership and Military Bases in Ukraine and Georgia is a "Trojan Horse" or Political Ploy to further control the Region. Such NATO Facilities will only be used to subrogate the Ukranian and Georgian Peoples, seize their Oil Resources, and position the British and Americans for a future Military Confrontation with Russia. Yushchenko and others in the Ukraine/Georgia Region are just being used...they have been seduced by British and American promises of Political Power and Money if they co-operate. They should understand that the British and Americans are a bunch of lying snakes and shouldn't be trusted....they are experts at cheating, lying and killing people. Western Media Sources such as the BBC and CNN News among others, are just spreading lies and disinformation; their effective Propaganda exists only to further exacerbate Political Situations against Russia Internationally. I beleive Tymoshenko is a beautiful Woman and a strong leader for the Ukraine...she has had her differences with Moscow, but I think she has seen the "Light" as they say in the West. That she is being attacked so violently is just further evidence of the "Bad Political Element" the Britisih and Americans have placed into power in the Region. The best course of action for Tymoshenko, Ukraine and Georgia is to get rid of their current Pro-Western Leadership, and become part of the Russian Federation by seeking Political Representation in the Duma. Under such Russian Federal System of Governemnt, the two Countires can still be Independent, but will enjoy Federal Protection and Political and Economic Oversight from Moscow. This will save them from wasting all their time and resources trying to please those Fanatics in Britian and America, with all their hysterical "Democracy and Freedom" rhetoric they are always screaming about in the Western Press. We have all seen how Democratic the Americans and British have been in Iraq and at their wonderful Guantanimo Bay "Club Med" Program the past 7 years. Remeber the pictures of "Abu Gharib Prison?" I can only beleive that a People that would Beat, Strip Prisoners Naked, Sodomize them and make Videos of the process are wholly evil and corrupt. The West is counting on the International Community to forget about their past discretions, but we in the World Community should never forget or misunderstand that the British and Americans have become Facisits, and are a danger to everyone in the World today. Tymoshenko's best course of action is to visit Moscow and ask for Political Support to be the next President of Ukraine...what is needed in the Region is Political and Economic Stability, something the Corrupt Western Powers have no intention of ever providing with their current and future Military Ambitions against Russia...and anyone else that gets in their way of World Domination.

    • I think Ukraine must utilize its financial resources to invest in projects that provide jobs for Ukrainians. Buying weapos from EU or USA will not bring any benefit. No-one is going to invade Ukraine because no-one is interested in harming Ukraine. Russian will be happy to continue good relations as well as EU. Do not buy weapons because that money can be use for Ukrainians and not for military-industrial complexes from other countries. Even if Ukraine buys 10 Bn in armaments it will not render any benefit for the Ukrainian people. If I were Ukrainian, I would vote for Tymoshenko, for she is not promoting a hysteric athmosphere in your beautiful country.

    • I'm surprised a proud and independent nation like Ukraine, wanting and now having its independence, is choosing allready for years to join a failed NATO alliance and become part of a fierce agressive military block with clear gloabl expansion goals. Why you cant be INDEPENDENT and have good relations with both EU and Russia??
Also..what is a definition of Democracy, when western leaders, my own leaders , and media, support a Ukraine NATO membership allready for years, WHEN OVER 70% OF YOUR DEMOCRATIC POPULATION does NOT find this necessary?
You loose as Ukraine not just respect from the democratic people in EU, ..this is not what a democratic nation should do.
Unless you think it's right a western funded president of your country offers Ukrainian boys up to start a war against Russia on behalf of good-od Brezinsky, destroying EU and Russian territory, and have our american friends, like before, sell us the weapons with big profits and ca$h in, while you and Europe is ripped apart, and your 'friedns' sit safe in american continant and divide and rule the world as undemocratic as you will enver read in massmedia..Wait and see..
Europe is perfectly capable to work togetehr, east and west, without relentlees pressure from other continents and cynical powergames, passed through over corrupt and short-sighted politicians like Milliband & Co.
(ps: I'm a western, democratic and free dutch citizen who studied political science in Amsterdam).

    • All Ukranians who care about their freedom, and their hard won independance, should resist Russia's massively funded effort to subvert Ukranian democracy. Russia will spend massive amounts of petro-dollars, and undertake any kind of fraud or criminal action in order to achieve a Ukrainian government under their control.

    • Yushchenko must now prove his accusations are serious and valid. If it turns out that he as acted irrationally and vexatiously then he has no other alternative but to tender his resignation without delay. It is unsatisfactory for him to try side shit and place any blame for wrong decisions on his staff. They act in his name. All that Yushchenko has achieved in Office is to destabilize and undermine Ukraine's economic and democratic development. His ongoing attempts to undermine Ukraine's sucessive parliamentary governments only perpetuates and drives inflation above and beyond the underlying inflation rate that applies to other counties neighbouring Ukraine. Yushchenko is the problem and not the solution.
