Yushchenko appoints chief of general staff to sit on NDSC and announces plans to inspect ministry of interior troops. Is president beefing up his muscles?

Pres Yushchenko has appointed Chief of General Staff and Chief Commander of Ukraine’s Army Serhy Kyrychenko to sit on the National Defense and Security Council. The incumbent has also announced plans to inspect how Interior Ministry troops are being reformed, Pres Yushhenko’s website reports.

The inspection will be carried out Sept 15 through Sept. 30 by a special commission.

- Yushchenko it following Saakaskvili's "lead" by winding up Russia. No good will come of it.
  Yushchenko is about to perform another demo of Ukraines military power. Who is he trying to impress? Russia??!!!! He's trying to drag Nato in a fight with Russia just as Saakashvili did. NO one will win this type of war.
