Following future snap elections, BYUT won’t be able to create a coalition as Our Ukraine approval rating is too low. Consequently, the next parliamentary elections will return Viktor Yanukovych to power. “The president took the bait offered by Akhmetov and Yanukovych who promised the incumbent support in the presidential election in exchange for premier’s seat for Yanukovych,” VR lawmaker Stepan Kurpil (BYUT) told ZIK Oct. 7.Most likely, the Party of Regions will form a coalition with the Communists and the Lytvyn bloc. The coalition of BYUT and PR is unlikely, as neither the members of these parties nor the incumbent are willing to create it.
“Viktor Yushchenko loathes a democratic coalition. For him, the greatest headache is Yulia TYmoshenko in a premier’s seat. That is why he is eager to get rid of Tymoshenko at any cost. His only way-out is snap elections,” Kurpil stressed.
As Stepan Kurpil pointed out, the final say is today with Pres Yushchenko. BYUT is ready to join a coalition with NUNS. “We have cancelled all the laws we passed without NUNS. However, NUNS faction leaders do not wish to call a meeting of faction members to debate coalition proposals. They a wary to fall out of line with Yushchenko instructions because they will lose their positions on the party roster,” Stepan Kurpil concluded.

Already members of Our Ukraine are engaged in negotiations to abandon association with Our Ukraine and are seeking a safe haven and support of other political factions.
The election scheduled for December 7 will be, by default, a referendum on the President himself, A referendum that Victor Yushchenko can not not win.
Yushchenko has made a serious error of political judgment, one that will see a quick end to his Political career.
The upside this will be Yushchenko's last grasp assuming he is not suicidal and will not pursue the course of action suggested by Taras Chornovil and seek to impose a Presidential dictatorship in order to cling on to Presidential power and prevent Ukraine from becoming a full Parliamentary democracy in line with other European states.
