Alpine BAU accuses Lviv Mayor Andrij Sadovyj of fraud

The company’s press secretary Karin Keglevych confirmed the information on the website and assured that her company did not participate in any tender in Lviv. There was a direct request for cooperation from the mayor’s office, and further work with the mayor’s office was based on contracts. In the course of the talks, the mayor’s office declared the cost of the stadium at euro 85 million, VAT included. After several rounds of talks, Alpine decided to refrain from implementing the project, saying the stadium meeting all UEFA standards cannot be built at such a cost, according to Roman Esterbauer, Alpine director.

At the request of the mayor’s office, Alpine agreed to prepare the stadium design. Accordingly, a contract was signed with the mayor’s office.
