BYUT pushed Ukraine into chaos, its people into cold and hungry winter, Yanukovych claims

October21200821:07

Oct. 21, the cabinet of Yulia Tymoshenko did not offer its program to protect the country and its people from the coming crisis. Instead, BYUT lawmakers blocked Verkhovna Rada work, didn’t let lawmakers pass laws on the budget and stabilization fund for the economy and the compensation fund to repay the deposits of Ukrainians, Party of Regions leader Viktor Yanukovych said, according to the PR press service.

“The regime has proven once again today that it is preoccupied with its internal feuds and battle for the presidential office. BYUT and the rest of the Orange team have left the society exposed to risks and defenseless in the face of economic, social and financial crisis which they created themselves,” V. Yanukovych said.

“That is why the cabinet must be accountable for all the threats facing Ukraine. The cabinet will be held accountable for the worsening standards of life of Ukrainians, for ruining the economy, rising unemployment, price hikes and high inflation,” the PR leaded added.

By paralyzing parliament, without offering any plan for the salvation of Ukraine, BYUT has pushed the country into chaos and its people into a cold and hungry winter.

“The Orange team has become an evil regime which subordinated the interests of the people and the state to its egoistic aim of clinging to power at any price. All responsibility for such criminal policy will be shouldered by Tymoshenko and her team,” Yanukovych warned.

Given the situation, the PR demands that the cabinet either overcome the crisis or publicly admit its inability to deal with it.

As a professional, experienced and responsible team, the PR is ready to assume responsibility for leading the country out of the crisis, ensure order and stable development of Ukraine, Yanukovych added.
