Regions’ Hanna Herman says Mykola Katerynchuk’s statement about PR plans to resign en masse in VR this week is a provocation. PR lawmakers won’t resign to provoke snap elections, Hanna Herman told ZIK Nov. 5She also dismissed as untrue the statement by BYUT’s Andrij Portnov who claimed, speaking to The Delo, Viktor Yanukovych is in talks with Our Ukraine and president’s office about his premiership. “No talks are taking place between the PR and Yushchenko’s office,” she stressed.
She refused, however, to elaborate on how the future Yanukovych government will operate: “There will be elections, and only then we can discuss our agenda. We’ve always had the party agenda and implemented successfully. PR is stability, while the Tymoshenko regime is one permanent crisis,” Herman opined.
Comment by ZIK
The goal of snap parliamentary elections is to remove Yulia TYmoshenko from power, NUNS Mykola Katerynchuk told ZIK Nov. 4
Party of Regions lawmakers will try to stage a massive resignation this week to provoke snap elections. They want a repeat of BYUT’s resignation in 2007 when the president called early elections, Katerynchuk said.
