A vote to dismiss the VR speaker was annulled, head of the counting commission Volodymyr Vuyazivsky announced.

However, Arseniuj Yatseniuk believes the issue of his dismissal will be raised soon, The Ukrayinska Pradva informs.

“I was surprised by the stand taken by some factions. They insisted to put the dismissal issue on today’s agenda and they refused to take part in the voting. No one interfered with the voting, like it was when Yatseniuk was elected speaker,” the speaker himself said, opening the evening session.

“I think, the issue of my dismissal won’t be dropped. But all politicking, intrigues and falsifications around the issue must be stopped. No one bans anyone to vote in a legal and democratic way,” Yatseniuk remarked.

Yatseniuk accused initiators of his dismissal of trying “to bury Verkhovna Rada and Ukrainian democracy.” “I think, the issue will be again raised tomorrow. Let me assure that I will continue to act in the same manner that I used before of complying with the laws and VR procedures. If my dismissal is put on the agenda in a legal way, VR will vote on it,” he vowed.
